A local man has been arrested on charges of endangering a child as well as assault of a family member by impeding breathing or circulation.
A woman says 24-year-old Michael Gene Linthicum, Jr. drove towards trucks, threatening to kill her and ran a red light and stop sign to keep her from getting out of the vehicle. This all happened while she held her son. She said he punched her in the face and choked her in front of her child. The Weatherford Democrat says during the incident, the woman attempted to use pepper spray on him but accidentally sprayed herself instead. Linthicum was arrested on several warrants and remained in the jail yesterday.
