The City of Weatherford Parks, Recreation, and Special Events Department are hard at work organizing Holiday in the Park at Heritage Park scheduled for Friday, December 12.

Special appearances will be made by Santa with live reindeer and characters from the movie Frozen. Food trucks and holiday music will also be present for the public to enjoy.
“Holiday in the Park is a great family event that will introduce Heritage Park as a great site for future special events. This event will take place during evening hours and will provide a special feel for the holiday season. When planning this event our staff decided to focus on fun and entertainment. This event will also feature our new Food Park, which is really exciting for the community,” said Shannon Goodman, Director of Parks, Recreation and Special Events.
Admission to Holiday in the Park at Heritage Park is FREE to the public. For more information about the event, contact Special Events Coordinator Blake Rexroat at 817-598-4034.
