The Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter’s volunteer program has been a success and continues to grow with new people and increased value each month. According to a media release from the city, shelter volunteers are able to walk dogs, care for cats, takes photos, works social media, work off site adoption events, help in the office, and so much more.
Volunteers who spend their time at the shelter not only make a huge impact on the lives of our furry friends, but they save the tax payers considerably by allowing shelter staff to focus on the jobs they do best.
