Development in Weatherford’s ETJ approved

A 111-acre residential development planned for a tract of property situated west of Tremble Road at Cochran is now one step closer to becoming a reality.

Parker County Today says the development, operated called Tremble, LLC, is the brainchild of Ray French. This week the Weatherford City Council approved a measure to establish the Tremble Public Improvement District that is in Weatherford’s extra-territorial jurisdiction. Members of the city staff recommended that council approve the measure.

The Tremble Public Improvement District will keep development streets, water features, ditches, and green areas in good repair in exchange for regular assessment fees that the landowners will pay annually in much the same manner as property taxes.

The development will consist of some 80 home sites.
