An 18-year old man is dead and another is injured after the car they were traveling in struck a pipe fence and rolled over on County Road 4590 and Highway 114 near Boyd late Friday night.
Another man was flown to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, with unknown injuries. Names of the men have not been released to the media.
The crash, which occurred around 11:35 p.m. Friday, was most likely caused by speeding. The road forms a sharp left curve.
The Wise County Messenger says the car plowed through a fence and stopped 50 feet in front of a home.
Traffic was stopped in both directions for about an hour on 114 while the AirEvac helicopter was being loaded.
This was the second major accident of the night in Wise County, following a four-vehicle wreck on 730 that sent seven people to the hospital around 7 p.m.
