Parker County Sheriff’s investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman.
A family member reported last week that 17-year-old Destiny Deana Montes, of Springtown, had walked away from her residence, and was thought to have been walking toward school.
Before noon, Feb. 25, 2015, the family received a phone call stating Montes was absent from school that day, and Montes’ family reported her as missing.
Montes was last seen walking in Springtown, eastbound on Highway 199. She is described as 5-feet, 3-inches tall, weighing approximately 150-pounds, with light brown hair and blue eyes.
Montes was last seen wearing a bright neon green UnderArmor brand jacket, and carrying a blue backpack.
Although family members reported at the time of the initial report, that no risk factors were evident, Sheriff’s investigators are eager to locate Montes.
Anyone with information about Montes is encouraged to contact the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at (817) 594-8845.
