Granbury residents treated for rabies

Four Hood County residents are seeking medical treatment after being bitten by a rabid dog. The dog bit multiple family members in the Arrowhead Shores section of Granbury before the dog died May 1st. In addition to the adults, a 9-year-old male child was scratched.

The Hood County News says all five people are receiving post-exposure rabies shots. Officials are trying to contact ten other people who visited the home during that time–but they haven’t been able to find all ten of those individuals as of yet.
