WISD prop passes by 3…not 7…votes

We told you a week ago that the margin for the Weatherford ISD’s bond proposition two was very close…we just didn’t know how close.

It turns out that prop 2 passed by three votes–There were 13 provisional ballots that had to be examined–that happened on Friday morning by the provisional ballot board. After the dust settled, that measure did indeed pass by three votes. A recount on the original results from last Saturday was conducted as well, with the results coming out exactly the same.

Proposition two was the largest of the three on the WISD bond slate at $49.5 million.
