In the race for Parker County Court at Law, Lynn Johnson defeated incumbent Curtis Jenkins 53 percent to 47 percent. About 4,200 people voted in that race countywide.
For Tax Assessor-Collector, Jenny Gentry defeated Susan Scott, 53 to 47 percent.
Palo Pinto County:
In Palo Pinto County’s Sheriff’s race, Brett McGuire brought home 61 percent to Craig Goen’s 39 percent.
For County Attorney, Jimmy Ashby won with 58 percent of the vote to Keri Walden’s 42 percent.
Incumbent Precinct 1 County Commissioner Curtis Henderson lost to challenger Gary Glover by 36 votes, or 52 to 48 percent.
