Two men pleaded guilty and received long prison sentences after fleeing police in Parker County in separate cases this past week.

A Springtown man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison Thursday after he pleaded guilty to multiple charges. 46-year-old Nicky Lane Kelton briefly fled from police after running a red light on Highway 199. After crashing into a tree, he was found with 120 grams of methamphetamine. He was convicted of possession, intent to deliver, evading arrest with a vehicle, and two bail jumping cases.

A 32-year-old man who led a state trooper on a chase at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour was sentenced to 30- and 20-year prison sentences in Parker County District courtroom. Lonny Wayne Tillery of Weatherford ran from police in southern Parker County—a chase that ended when he tried to run on foot. He was pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a vehicle and possession of methamphetamine charges.
