Former Weatherford Kangaroo Kapron Lewis-Moore was released by the Baltimore Ravens over the weekend, only to be signed to their practice squad after clearing waivers.
Lewis-Moore was drafted by the Ravens out of Notre Dame in 2013 despite a serious knee injury in the national title game. He then suffered an Achilles heel tear that kept him out of action for a second straight season. He played five games in 2015.
The practice squad assignment pays a minimum $117,000 annual salary and the opportunity to possibly re-join the 53-man roster in the event of an injury.
