1987 Weatherford murder case brought back to forefront

A nearly 30-year-old murder case is being brought back to the limelight by the DPS. Officials are asking for helping solving the 1987 murder Wendy Kae Robinson of Weatherford, who was a 19-year-old Weatherford College freshman at the time of her murder. She was last seen at the east end of Lake Weatherford, at an area known as “The Wall.” Her body was found several miles away four days later.

The Texas Rangers Unsolved Crimes Investigation Team is highlighting the case, as it does with unsolved murders or violent serial crimes.

The Parker County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person/persons responsible for Robinson’s death. Call 817-599-5555 with information.
